I’m on holiday! (nearly)

Just 2 days left at work, and then I’m on holiday!

I’ll just be taking the iPad, so no podcast on Monday. Saying that though, I will try and go back to the old days of dropping in the odd blog post with comments and updates on tech news as it happens.

Still no sign of Lion OS. Sods law it will appear while I am away!

Had to uninstall the iOS beta from the iPad as a couple of my favourite apps stopped working. One of them was the calendar. Bit of a deal breaker really.

Packing all the things I need for the holiday. Two battery packs, loads of leads, Bluetooth speakers, the iPad mains charger, USB headphones ( I might record something), and the hdmi connector for the iPhone/iPad . Tested this yesterday, and the playback of movies stored on my. Phone on the large screen tv was more than adequate. Handy for entertainment if the weather is not great. ( forecast looking poor)
